Description QUICSEAL 535 Paver-Top N is a single component, quality controlled, factory blended, ready to use monolithic surface hardening compound. It consists of a special blend of hardwearing aggregates, high performance workability admixtures to produce a material which is applied as a dry shake over freshly floated concrete or floor screed.
Typical Uses
QUICSEAL 535 provides a highly abrasion resistant surface to concrete floor by the dry shake method. It is ideal for use in all industrial areas subjected to the heaviest traffic, e.g. carparks, ramps, workshops, loading bays, factory floors, production areas, etc.

Instructions for Use
The base concrete should be placed and compacted in accordance with good concrete practice.
Application QUICSEAL 535 is applied at different application rate to meet the demands for different types of usage.
The sprinkling is broadcast in two applications, perpendicular to each other to achieve a more uniform coverage.
For the first broadcast, sprinkle 2/3 of the required quantity QUICSEAL 535 onto a freshly spread and floated concrete slab surface (foot pressure results in 3-5mm indentation) after the water sheen has disappeared.
Allow sufficient time for the QUICSEAL 535 to be moistened by the water from the base concrete or color tone to turn darker before floating.
QUICSEAL 535 shall be floated by hand or mechanical power floating to embed the hardener onto the surface of the concrete.
Allow 30-50 minutes time interval before carrying out the second broadcast.
Broadcast the remaining QUICSEAL 535 at right angle to the first and further power toweled until a hard, wear resistant surface is obtained.
Further troweling is recommended using a power float to achieve the desired finish.
Curing
Proper curing and sealing is essential to achieve optimum performance of the floor finish. Upon completion of application of QUICSEAL PAVER-TOP, the floor should be treated with QUICSEAL 507 CURE-SHIELD WB curing compound. Other curing methods such as polyethylene sheets are also acceptable.
Apply CURE-SHIELD WB by spray over the freshly laid surface once the surface does not leave any foot imprint. If spray equipment is not available, apply with a soft brush when the surface is hard enough.

Storage
The shelf life of QUICSEAL 535 is 12 months when stored unopened, and kept in a cool and dry place.
Health & Safety
Gloves goggles and dust mask should be worn. Any splashes to the skin or eyes should be washed off with clean water. In the event of prolonged irritation, seek medical advice. Powder products should be handled to minimize dust formation.
